Hi, I’m Jonny Rowntree, a blogger who has been writing articles on technology, social media, design and startups for the last 6 years.

Jonny first found his taste for blogging back in 2008 when he released his first technology blog. Although it didn't last long, it was a testing ground and a great place to see how blogs were formed which allowed him to reach out to readers in his niche.

A year later, he started his own blog which has been his content home for the last 5 years. Through his work and his passionate demeanour of providing great content surrounding a selected few categories evolving around the digital & creative category, he has been able to work with numerous blogs which include The Next Web, Buffer and Betarocket.

Following his departure from Betarocket, Jonny has settled into Shout, a creative digital agency in Newcastle upon Tyne to pursue an online marketing & social media role as well as a digital director role at Magnate Magazine, a freemium magazine targeted towards the ABC1 demographic working in some of London’s top office locations.

Outside of work, Jonny has a great passion to mix and collaborate with other creative & digital types in Newcastle or London through events held either by Epic Times or Tomorrow’s Web.
